Peter A. Hirst is a highly experienced coach, coach educator and author in a professional career spanning more than 40 years, actively playing squash for over 35 years.
He has impacted on coaching and coach education programmes throughout the world, directing and tutoring Olympic Solidarity courses as well as designing coaching structures.
He pioneered and headed up ‘Coaching New Zealand’ the generic coach education arm for all sport in New Zealand and is a former Performance & Coaching Director with England Squash.
Now semi retired he has remained active with World Squash – Europe and with the WSF in the areas writing the syllabi for the CEP scheme, tutoring and coaching scheme design.
COLIN WHITE - Ireland
Personal background: 46 years young, married to Petra with a son called Patrick.
From Belfast, Northern Ireland but in the last 27 years I have lived and coached squash in Ireland, Hungary, Bermuda, Austria and now the USA. Former Austrian and Hungarian National Coach and the personal coach to Mark Krajcsak, 13 times Hungarian National Champion and No.37 on PSA.
Qualifcations: WSF Level 2 Tutor, ESF Level 1, 2 and 3 Tutor, Spinning and TRX Instructor.
Aim of Presentation: Hopefully to give something practical and fun that coaches can take away, adjust and develop for the needs of their players.
